Coming out Later in Life – An Ongoing Story of Discovery

The Moment you Realise, Everything Changes

I came out to myself on 30 April 2022. I was alone in the house, my wife was away, and, after nearly a year of trying to understand what I was feeling, I broke down in the kitchen and cried, knowing instinctively that my life would never be the same again.

This is the chronicle of the journey of coming out and beyond. There are few resources available, but those I've found, I will share with you as I progress. If you are married, have kids (or not) and have come to the conclusion that you're gay late in life, this site may provide some answers. This is my story, but perhaps you will find something that chimes with yours.
